Meta-Analisis Korelasi Burnout dan Performa Kerja: Small Effect Size

Abstract


Meta-analisis ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh burnout terhadap performa kerja pada individu dengan menggunakan analisis statistik melalui reviu literatur 14 jurnal internasional dengan variabel penelitian yang relevan. Total subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 5.490 orang. Berdasarkan pengolahan data r (korelasi) dan N (jumlah subjek), didapatkan hasil small effect size sebesar -0.0739 (95% CI -0.278 – 0.130, I2 (inconsistency) = 98.15%). Egger bias yang diperoleh sebesar p=0.961 yang berarti bahwa tidak terdapat bias publikasi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa burnout hanya memiliki pengaruh yang kecil terhadap performa kerja. Meskipun demikian, semakin tinggi tingkat burnout yang dirasakan oleh seseorang, maka performa kerjanya akan semakin menurun. Perusahaan dan karyawan perlu mempertimbangkan hasil penlitian ini dalam rangka meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan dan pencapaian target kerja.
